Oh to be a bird in Venice

When I was in Venice, for the first time in my life, not only I fell under the enchantment especially when looking at the canals from the terrace of the Danielli,!!! but I also reacted to the incredible peace of a city without the noise of the motorize traffic, where one can hear all the bells of the many churches ...a spiritual feeling came over me which made me think of reincarnation (a joke as I do not believe in it at all)... what a special feeling in contrast yes with the CROWDS of tourists from everywhere....happily they all congregate in the same area so one can take a little walk away from the hubbub.... all those birds on the water seemed so peaceful, no rush!!!!!!here too I am using a net from the market to give a sense of movement, of flight, of wings .so is the way I cut the maps of Venice that make up the background, cut in a wingy, feathery shape........
